British Columbia Assembly of First Nations – BC Assembly of First Nations Regional Chief Terry Teegee is attending the SHARE Investor Summit today in Vancouver to address and discuss challenges building sustainable, inclusive and productive economies.
“There is a growing movement to develop partnerships built on the shared belief that investors have an important role to play in reconciliation and Indigenous empowerment. Economic opportunities exist that can bring about concrete and ethical practice,” stated Regional Chief Terry Teegee.
He further added, “future economic innovations and success will see investors adhering to First Nations standards and laws; building relationships and understanding; and supporting First Nations in building capacity to manage wealth.”
